We go with the wind that is blowing on the day, visiting the following on our kayaking day trip:
The Rock Carvings, steep 100m high cliffs, the point where gold miners toiled and dumped their tailings in the lake and Mason's Rock, a unique volcanic fan of rock emerging from the lake.
Lunch is on a secluded beach. Comb the beach, if you like, for pumice and take it home to use on the hard skin of your feet!
